At Oklahoma Horseshoeing School, we don't just teach the trade—we instill a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the pride that comes with mastering a craft. Our training goes beyond the anvil and forge. We prepare you for the real-world demands of horseshoeing where consistency, skills, and professionalism matter every single day.

While our program is fast-paced and intensive, our instructors are committed to helping each student rise to the challenge. You'll be expected to take ownership of your learning, stay focused, and give your best effort every single day.

This is not a shortcut—it’s a commitment. But if you show up ready to work, you'll leave with more than just certificate. You'll leave with a skill set you can build a career on.

ALL ABOUT OHS

Founded in the summer of 1973, Oklahoma Horseshoeing School was established with one clear goal: to put a valuable, high-earning trade within your reach.

Since then, we've proudly trained students from across the United States and around the world—including Alaska, Australia, Bermuda, Canada, Croatia, Curaçao, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico and South Korea. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, including doctors, news videographers, nuclear physicists, and teachers. Regardless of where you're from or what you've done before, we're here to help you succeed.

Our curriculum is built from the ground up. We don't expect students to come in with any prior experience. Whether you're completely new to horseshoeing or starting over in a new career, we will teach you everything you need to know—step by step.

Many of our graduates go on to build successful, self-employed careers doing work they're passionate about. With the right investment in education and tools, Oklahoma Horseshoeing School can be your starting point to owning your own business and forging a future in the equine industry.
